Why do i want to be a vet?

Well, when I was a child I wasn't thinking about being a vet, I wanted to become an artist, because I loved and still love making paintings and sculptures, but then I heard that being an artist includes a lot of history, and I hate history from the beginning of times…

When I grow up I found my real vocation. Sincerely, when I postulate to vet, there wasn’t another option it was: “Veterinary in Universidad de Chile” or “Veterinary in Universidad Mayor” or “Veterinary in Universidad Austral”. Because if I didn’t become a vet I wouldn’t be happy.

I decided to be a vet, like in 5th grade because I felt too much love for dogs that were homeless, more than my classmates. I wanted to make a change for them. And here I am.

My experience in university until now is exactly what I was expecting, good friends, hard work, laughs and stress, too much stress…

I always think my future job like a physiotherapist for dog or cats that are unable to walk… I think that seeing those animals living a normal life again will fill me like nothing else would do.
